Whatever happened to the likely lads? Hi! I'm a cheerful, outgoing kind of girl, originally from Wales, now living in Brighton. Divorced, with older kids, I am now enjoying being free to do whatever I like - which tends to be reading, cinema, crosswords (cryptic), listening to Radio 4, writing, travelling, swimming in the sea, running, rambling on the Downs and generally putting the world to rights in the pub with my leftie mates. Oh, and I have a very stressful job too - but like to 'switch off' from it when I come home. I'm a bit of a nerd and interested in most things about the world, just love learning for its own sake, and take pleasure in human encounters of all kinds. I speak quite a few foreign languages and love to visit friends in Berlin and Budapest (ex-haunts of mine from my younger days...). I'm intrigued as to how many socialists there are out there these days, and why we are left out of mainstream discourse on the current state of the economy, so would love to hear from some of you!
